I’ve spent a lot of time preparing to take and taking high-stakes exams. I’ve taken the SAT, the LSAT, the GRE. I’ve also passed two bar exams, the National Counselor Exam, and the Oklahoma Legal and Ethical Responsibility Examination.
Preparing for licensing exams requires some time and effort. Some require more time and effort than others. Some licensing exams support entire industries because the preparation is so rigorous, and other exams have next to nothing available to help people organize and strategically approach their efforts in preparing for those exams. An example of the latter is the above-mentioned OLERE. In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be publishing some materials to help fill in the OLERE gap. If you’re an Oklahoma LPC Candidate preparing for your exams, please sign up to receive emails from me so that you can stay in the loop about the launch of the study guide and test prep course I will be launching shortly.
In the meantime, check out this bundle of resources from Amazon to help you prepare for the National Counseling Exam.
