Welcome to my website! I look forward to getting to know you.
I’ve spent a lot of time learning, both in school and for fun. I love connecting with other people who are addicted to learning. Mutually beneficial learning relationships require reciprocity, so I’ve created this website to serve as both a hub for people addicted to learning to gather and as a platform for me to share some of the stuff I’ve learned over the years and some of the stuff I’m in the process of learning now.
In my journey thus far, I’ve acquired a B.A. in communication studies with a minor in religious studies, a J.D., and an M.Ed. in applied behavioral studies with a certificate in professional counseling. There was a brief stint in library school, but one of the things I’ll share via the blog is the importance of considering timing when pursuing education through programs at degree granting institutions.
I worked as an academic support professional in a law school for six years and then hopped on the tenure track at another institution. During my first year on the tenure track, some family stuff came up, so I took a leave of absence to take care of family and now that the family situation is momentarily under control, I’m itching to teach again. I’ve started this website to satisfy that itch, and I will be sharing a wide variety of content via the blog. I’m also in the process of developing a number of eCourses, webinars, and podcasts that will be available soon.
